A Monitored Dosage System (MDS) is a way to organise your medication for easy tracking and consumption. It uses a special tray with compartments labelled with the days of the week and the times of day, so you can see at a glance what to take and when.
Our pharmacists arrange your medication in the tray according to your prescribed schedule. This helps you avoid the hassle of handling multiple pillboxes or struggling with hard-to-open blister packs, and makes it much easier to take the right medicine at the right time.

Helpful for people who take multiple medicines, or who find it hard to manage their medicines, including patients in residential and nursing homes. Our pharmacist will assess whether an MDS is right for you.
Once we receive a prescription from your doctor, we pack the prescribed medication into a Monitored Dosage System and label it accordingly. The system is then provided to you weekly, or as directed by your prescriber.
We also offer pharmaceutical services to local residential and nursing homes, delivering Monitored Dosage Systems and offering guidance on the safe usage, storage and disposal of medicines. We're always happy to answer questions about your medication and help you understand what each medicine is for and the best way to take it.
